What is the Amount of security deposit which I have to leave with the car rental company at that time of pick-up?
If you have a valid CREDIT Card in your name we DO NOT REQUIRE any Security Deposit ( VISA or MASTER Cards ). If you do not have a valid CREDIT Card in your name, we will then require a Security Deposit in the same amount indicated as the "Deductible" also known as the "Excess", acceptable by either Cash or International DEBIT Cards ( VISA or MASTER Cards ). Sadly, we Do Not accept American Express Cards locally.
If you Do Not have a Valid CREDIT Card, a Security Deposit is mandatory. We accept payment by either Cash or International DEBIT Cards ( VISA or MASTER Cards ). Unfortunately we do not accept American Express Cards, locally in Seychelles.
We rent out all our rental cars with a full tank of fuel. You should also return the rental car with a full tank or as the same as it is stated on the rental agreement. The renter will be charged for any missing fuel when returning the vehicle.
Our rental car has a public / third party liability insurance with a minimum coverage amount as per local legislations. CDW ( Collision Damage Waiver ) Insurance is also included in our rates when booking for 2 days or more. For booking of 1 day or less, please note, CDW Insurance is available as an additional chargeable option and is NOT Included in the daily rate.
Any additional driver needs to be registered in the rental agreement. The additional driver needs to be present at time of pick-up and also provide a valid driver’s license and passport or photo ID. We do not charge for additional driver. Allowing any other person(s) who is not included in your rental agreement, to drive the rental car, is a major breach of the rental agreement.
Our car rental prices are based on a 24 hour time period , e.g. if you reserve and pick up your car rental at 14:00 you will have to drop it off at 14:00 at the latest. If you return the car later, you will be charged for an additional day. The daily rates advertised on the website are for booking of 3 days or more. We do accept bookings for less than 3 days, but the advertised daily rate does not apply. Please note that if you return your car earlier than your pick up time, we do not do refunds for unused days or hours.
We understand that you might get delayed, so we try our very best to be flexible. If you’re returning late or you need to extend your car rental, do make sure you contact us as soon as possible. Should you return the vehicle later than the agreed time as per the rental agreement, without our authorization, you will be charged an additional day and any other operational and displacement costs incurred by Pristine Cars. Late Return Fee only applies for Authorized extension to your rental contract, by means of contacting us at least 6 hours prior to the scheduled return time stated on the rental agreement Please note, if you return the rental car after the agreed time stated on the rental agreement, you will be charged for an additional day.
You will need to present to our customer representative, the following:- Your Driver’s License issued by your country of residence or your International Driver's License and held for a minimum period according to local legislation or conditions. It will be requested at every rental. Your identification documents such as your passport ( or your national identity card). A VALID Credit Card in the name of the Renter / Driver, with an expiry date after the due check-in date. Please note, that our company's policy indicates that all renters should have a VALID Driver's License with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
It is a temporary hold on a specified amount against the available funds on your payment card. Please note that this is not an actual charge amount and no funds are taken. Your payment card user may present a pre-authorization as a pending transaction.
We always check our hire vehicles thoroughly before your pick up, but mistakes can happen. Should you notice any damage on the vehicle that is not marked on your rental agreement, please contact us as soon as possible. For example if you collected your car at night and it’s dark, please contact us straight away in the following morning. You will find our contact details on the rental agreements.
Unfortunately we will not be able to rent you a car without the presence of your actual Driver's License. In Seychelles, you are allowed to drive with your home driver's license, without the need for an international driver's license, for up to 90 days. In case of any accidents, the Seychelles Police and Insurance Companies, will ONLY accept your actual physical Driver's License, they do not accept photo copies or any digital formats or E-License. Without a VALID Driver's License available at the time of Pick Up, our team will not be allowed to hand over the keys of the vehicle to you.
Car Rental works on 24 hour basis, counted as 1 day. You are charged for each day (24 hours) you hire your car. Whether you hire it for just 2 hours or 24 hours, you will be charged for a full day. We DO NOT offer refunds for any unused days or hours.
We charge a "Late Return Fee" for an Authorized extension to your return time. The Late Return Fee is fixed at Euro 25 ( or equivalent ) for a maximum of 2 hours. Extensions of more than 2 Hours, you will be charge for an extra day.
The insurance "Excess" also known as the "Deductible" varies depending on the vehicle category and the "Deductible / Excess" amount that you choose when doing your booking. Please note that ( CDW ) Collision Damage Waiver Insurance offered with our rates only covers the body work of the rental car. We also offer additional insurance to cover the windscreen and all glass, as well as insurance for tires. Please feel fee to contact us at anytime for any additional information.
